High enthusiast of people visiting National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, is utilized by street vendors to hawk their wares there. “They are illegal street vendors. No one authorized them to sell inside Monas area. They have no brains, recklessly jumping into the site just to sell inside without caring for Monas’ beauty. We’ve urged them since long ago not to sell here, but they ignored it. They are fiercer when my men prohibited them to sell inside and even threatened back,” she uttered, Wednesday (7/30).
